We Little Sisters of the Poor have been home with our Residents since the outbreak of the pandemic. Recent claims in the media of appearances by Little Sisters at political rallies are not only untrue, but dangerous, as we have received threats to our homes. We have not endorsed a candidate, appeared at political rallies, or spoken at political conventions. Our sole focus in this moment is to do the work we are called by God to do by serving the most vulnerable among us.
We pray for those who are involved in the political process, and we ask for your prayers as we continue our care for the elderly poor.
