Sing out, Old and Young!
based on the words of Pope Francis for the elderly on the occasion
of the first World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly
Jesus promised his friends:
I will be with you until the end of time.
Where two or three are gathered in my name,
there I will be with them.
Oh what joy, blessed joy!
Jesus, old and young together,
dreams and visions shared.
There is hope for tomorrow
where memory and promise
are embraced.
A tree cannot stand without roots;
nor can it blossom without new life.
Hand in hand young and old together journey.
Dreams already lived and yet to come.
